Tydex is a private company founded in 1994 in St. Petersburg, the optical center of Russia, by several scientists from the Ioffe Physico-Technical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Tydex produces optical components and instruments for research and industry: spectroscopy, pyrometry and thermography, THz electronics, sensors and detectors, metrology, lasers... Application wavelength range in terms of used materials, component shapes, coatings, and instruments extends from DUV through VIS, NIR, MIR, and to MM waves (THz). Some of the products are produced in close association with the state optics-manufacturing enterprises and research institutes. Tydex specializes mainly in the custom manufacturing.

We ensure full spectrophotometer control from DUV to 3000 microns as well as interferometer control. The quality of our products is tested with the use of autocollimators, MTF measuring equipment, environmental and other testing instruments.
